Head of Procurement
Identify, leverage and deliver cost savings and efficiency gains
Lead negotiations with suppliers on complex supply arrangements and contractual agreements
Lead and manage regular supplier reviews against contract objectives and terms and conditions
Ongoing management of key supplier relationships
Procure goods and services according to FLG requirements and ensure compliance to the FLG Procurement Policy
Manage and execute RFP/RFQs, Tenders, proposals, and negotiation of contracts.
Build internal and external partnerships and a customer orientated procurement approach
Manage the centralised contract register and report on procurement category/spend data
Manage FLG's Modern Slavery Policy and obligations
To be successful in this role you will need:
Essential
5+ Years Procurement experience
A broad understanding of indirect categories including Property/Facilities, Marketing, Technology, Corporate Services
Demonstrated experience in managing a procurement spend category or strategic sourcing
Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing or Category Management principles
Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong commercial acumen with negotiation and influencing skills
Desirable
Bachelor's degree in Procurement/Supply or Business
CIPSA membership
