Graphic Designer
Purpose: To create visual concepts to communicate information by banners, catalogues
etc. and to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media.
Responsibilities
Study design briefs and determine requirements
Taking design briefs to understand requirements
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
Test graphics across various media
Amend designs after feedback
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Conceptualizing and developing design concepts, graphics and layouts
Designing and producing collateral in accordance with brand guidelines
Presenting ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders and
incorporating their feedback into the final design
Liaising with team and to ensure proofs are of good quality and in line with
requirement.
Competencies
Practical Knowledge of working on tools like GIMP, Canva, InDesign, Illustrator,
Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
Proven experience on Publication
Experience in Banner Making, Catalogues, Flex, Website Banners etc.
Adaptable, flexible and fast learner
Self-motivated, High Integrity, Independent Outside the BOX thinker
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
Educational Qualifications
Graduate/ Certification in Graphic Designing.
Experience
2 to 5 years of experience in Graphic Designing in an EdTech Industry.
