Habitat for Humanity Manitoba has an exciting opportunity for a Carpenters helper to join its team. We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to build safe, decent and affordable homes for purchase by low-income working families.
Reporting to the Construction Site Supervisor you are primarily responsible for the construction of residential homes. Additional responsibilities include providing direction and guidance to volunteers on the jobsite.
The right person for this job will have a combination of the following skills and assets:
Carpentry skills
Proven history of safety awareness
Trustworthy and responsible
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fluid team environment
Highly organized and able to independently manage time and tasks
Hold a valid driver’s license
