The Job
As a Cook, you will be responsible for using culinary techniques to provide high-quality food to guests from all over the world. You will partner with front-of-house staff to create memorable experiences that guests will carry with them far beyond their stay.
Key Responsibilities
Possess thorough knowledge of food products and apply culinary techniques effectively.
Recognize and safely operate kitchen equipment.
Replenish kitchen supplies and necessary food items for service.
Accurately label and date products for proper storage and sanitation.
Demonstrate strong menu comprehension and meticulous attention to plate presentation.
Support kitchen leadership and team members during service.
Exhibit proficiency in preparing base sauces, stocks, and soups.
Collaborate effectively within a team environment, addressing all guest needs and inquiries.
The Ideal Candidate
Prior experience in an upscale fine dining and high-volume environment.
Comfortable in a restaurant kitchen and with the use of culinary tools, equipment, and techniques.
Maintain professionalism at all times.
Able to work while using a headset for the entirety of their shift.
Takes pride in their work, provides a safe environment, and maintains health standards.
Detail-oriented and enthusiastic about helping others.
Flexibility to work various hours/shifts as needed per on-call requirements.
Minimum Requirements
