About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Clay Cooley Auto Group. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and repair work.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect and diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on all areas of vehicles, including specialized areas of repair.
• Discuss concerns with the Shop Foreman and offer labor time estimates to the Service Advisor.
• Test fluid levels and change oil and filters.
• Restore transmissions and fuel components.
• Mount and rotate tires.
• Replace batteries and belts.
• Repair cooling systems, steering, and suspension.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections.
Requirements and Qualifications
• A working knowledge of mechanical repairs is required, preferably ASE certified. Pay based on experience.
• Familiarity with complex electronic systems of vehicles.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret documentation; communicates effectively.
