We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant setting is preferred.
Proficient in various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, baking, and frying.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.
