VIDEO EDITOR (REMOTE) — Freelance, Paid Per Project

Symal Creative Inc. is looking for a skilled, creative video editor to join our team on a freelance basis. You’ll be working across a range of vibrant, engaging content:

from our viral Dom Creates and Kolter Talks verticals

to weekly full-length podcast episodes of Playing House

to polished client deliverables for Symal Creative’s health, wellness, and lifestyle partners

If you thrive in fast-paced creative environments, can stick to brand guidelines, and know your way around DaVinci Resolve like it’s second nature, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Editing

Dom Creates Kolter Talks: vertical content (1–1.5 min Reels/Tik Toks/Shorts)

Playing House Podcast: weekly 60-minute episodes (audio video), batch recorded

Symal Client Work:

1-minute event highlight reels

5-minute interview videos

Short-form branded social series

What We’re Looking For

Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve

Strong understanding of brand identity and storytelling

Ability to take direction while bringing your flair

Experience with colour grading, subtitles, transitions, and social-first formats

Reliable, organized, and meets deadlines

Comfortable working in a Slack-based workflow

How We Pay

We pay per project and will provide sample scopes so you can quote accordingly. Rates vary depending on the length, complexity, and turnaround time of each deliverable.
