**Job Opportunity for Experienced Carpenter**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our Wellington team as a Foreman. This role is ideal for someone looking to take their career to the next level and support our construction projects.
NZ Proud is an award-winning company specializing in renovations and home additions. As a Foreman - Carpenter, you will be responsible for supporting on-site activity, delivering projects, and working closely with our Project Manager.
The role involves a mix of on-the-tools work and off-site management. You will oversee renovation, extension, and alteration projects, managing subcontractors and suppliers as needed.
**Requirements:**
5+ years of experience as a qualified Carpenter
Site supervision experience
Reno construction experience
Managing subcontractors/suppliers
**Qualifications:**
Must be a Qualified Carpenter (Trade Certificate Carpentry, Level 4)
Current LBP preferred
NZ Certificate in Construction Trade/Supervisor level 4 preferred but not essential
**Skills:**
Quality carpentry craftsmanship
Risk management and health safety
Team management
Apprentice training
Subcontractor/supplier management
