We’re looking for a skilled Fitter and Turner to join our Engineering Services team, supporting the fabrication, machining, assembly, maintenance, and repair of precision mechanical systems and components.
You’ll be part of a highly innovative, solutions-focused and collaborative environment, working with cutting-edge manufacturing technologies that demand extreme precision and attention to detail in fabrication and assembly. You’ll machine components to tight tolerances, interpret technical drawings, and help keep our specialised equipment running safely and reliably.

Your Contribution
Operate lathes, milling machines, and other machine tools to accurately fabricate mechanical parts
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal machinery performance and minimize downtime
Diagnose mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs or part replacements to restore equipment functionality
Fabricate and machine precision parts to specification in cooperation with Design and Development teams
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to deliver improvements
Maintain clear and accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and modifications performed
Use hand and power tools safely, efficiently, and in accordance with operational procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area and comply with relevant policies and procedures
Your Profile
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting and Turning) or equivalent trade qualification.
Experience as a Fitter and Turner, Technician, or similar role, ideally in a regulated and/or high precision manufacturing environment. (e.g. medical, food, pharmaceutical)
Skilled in machining, fitting, and fabrication using workshop tools and equipment
Experience with injection moulding maintenance is desirable
Confident in reading and understanding technical drawings
Ideally familiar with CNC machining/milling and 3D printing technologies
Strong mechanical aptitude with a practical, solution-focused mindset
Hands-on, reliable, and collaborative, with a strong commitment to teamwork and safety
