Finish Carpenter
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FINISH carpentry and construction(minimum 5 years), with the ability to install interior doors, baseboards, crown moulding, wainscoting, feature walls, decks and fences. The Finish Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet high-quality standards and are completed on time. We almost exclusively work for high end projects so you must be able produce high quality work. THIS IS A MUST.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Execute detailed carpentry work including installing trim, interior doors, baseboards, crown moulding, wainscoting, feature walls, decks and fences.
Perform caulking and filling as required to achieve a near flawless finished look. (On some jobs)
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
Provide their own tool belt and hand tools; hammer, tape measure, square, bits, olfa knife, chisels etc.
Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials as necessary during the construction process.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Show up on time, in a clean professional manner, be respectful when talking with colleagues and customers.
Experience
Proven experience as a finished carpenter, preferably have framing / deck skills.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction plans.
Strong skills in using hand tools and power tools specific to carpentry work.
Exceptional experience with caulking and filling.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for various projects.
This position is for highly experiences, confident carpenters who can produce HIGH QUALITY work at a reasonably fast rate. If you can not do this DO NOT APPLY.
