Financial Reporting Accountant
Job Title: Senior Accountant (Financial Reporting)
Position Will Report To: Manager, Financial Reporting at the Houston, Texas office
Onsite Placement: League City, Texas - Houston, Texas - New York, New York Des Moines, Iowa (Monday-Friday / 8:00 am-4:30 pm) Full-Time, Exempt --PLEASE NOTE: Must be available to perform job functions outside of normal business hours during peak periods to fulfill essential functions
You will provide crucial support in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reports across departments.
Accepting internal applications through end of business day, July 28, 2025.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare monthly and quarterly internal management reports
Ensure compliance with internal controls
Communicate with all finance departments and auditors
Prepare journal entries for accruals, reconciliations, and adjustments as assigned
Analyze financial statements for compliance with standards
Prepare external disclosures for GAAP reporting
Provide accounting guidance and transfer knowledge to team members
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance; Relevant work experience considered
Financial reporting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
Knowledge in SAP, Workiva, and Blackline - beneficial
Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Accuracy and diligence in self-review of work
Well-organized, able to multi-task, and work independently
High-level of initiative, follow-through, and accountability
Strong critical thinking skills
Ability to perform job functions outside of normal business hours during peak periods to fulfill essential functions
