The Financial Operations Officer will work with up to ten people within the AGS Financial Operations Team. As a member of this team you are expected to manage a variety of tasks with competing deadlines, whilst ensuring the team's compliance with AGS standards, processes and KPI's.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a commercially competitive environment with outstanding opportunities and conditions. Tasks include:

First tier help desk for financial management systems (including: 3E, Matter Planning Tool, Concur, CTM, Jira, RPA Processes). This includes problem solving queries to resolution.
Preparation of client invoices and reports, together with any relevant correspondence as required or requested to meet client expectations
Accounts payable and accounts receivable - processing of receipt of payments into AGS, processing vendor invoices / disbursements and the payment of these. Answering, finding solutions and following up any queries.
Credit control – contacting clients as appropriate to ensure the prompt payment of our client invoices. Answering, finding solutions and following up any queries relating to outstanding debts.
Always Adhere to AGS’S National Finance Standards and Financial delegations and ensure that all processing is done in accordance with these.
Recommending, supporting and assisting in the introduction of new business initiatives. Assisting with projects and any ad-hoc tasks as requested.
Manage, maintain and audit AGS financial management system, including client rates, billing and reporting requirements in the systems.
Perform tasks autonomously in accordance with instructions and guidelines.
Identify and assist in facilitating process and system changes, including procedure changes
Identify, implement and present training sessions to the business as required
Understand processes ensuring reviews are regularly undertaken and procedures are maintained to ensure high level client service is always provided.
Provide continuous high level internal and external client support

Other qualifications: · Experience with use of Elite 3E, Concur, CTM and Pexa, would be desired.
