Finance Co-ordinator
Position: Finance Accountant
Location: Shahibaug, Ahmedabad
Department: Finance and Accounting
Reports to: Director
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance / MBA Finance
Salary: As Per Company
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bank Guarantee (BG) Management:
o Prepare and process applications for Bank Guarantees in line with company policies.
o Monitor BG validity, ensure timely renewals, and maintain accurate records.
o Reconcile BG transactions and ensure compliance with banking terms.
2. Letter of Credit (LC) Handling:
o Prepare and process Letters of Credit (LC) for international and domestic trade.
o Ensure documentation accuracy, including invoices, bills of lading, and other supporting documents.
o Monitor LC limits, amendments, and expiry to ensure compliance with financial agreements.
3. Coordination with Banks:
o Liaise with banks to handle BG and LC-related queries, approvals, and discrepancies.
o Negotiate terms and conditions with banks to optimize costs and minimize risks.
4. Compliance and Documentation:
o Ensure all BG and LC documentation adheres to regulatory and company standards.
o Maintain detailed records of all transactions, approvals, and supporting documents.
5. Financial Reconciliation and Reporting:
o Reconcile BG and LC transactions with company accounts.
o Prepare periodic reports on BG/LC utilization, outstanding obligations, and related costs.
6. Risk Management:
o Assess and mitigate risks associated with BG and LC operations.
o Ensure proper credit limits and exposure are maintained for financial stability.
7. Stakeholder Communication:
o Work closely with procurement, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts involving BGs and LCs.
o Provide financial guidance on BG and LC requirements for new and ongoing projects.
8. Process Improvement:
o Suggest improvements in BG/LC processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
o Stay updated with industry practices, trade finance regulations, and banking policies.
