Are you experienced in managing a hospitality rota looking to play a critical role in optimising workforce efficiency across multiple commercial catering contracts? Are you looking to transition away from the kitchen and into a finance supporting role?



We Do Group are delighted to be supporting a contract catering business in London, recruiting a permanent Finance Analyst to monitor, analyse, and improve rota management and labour controls across all sites.



This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, data-savvy Finance Analyst to make a real impact in a fast-moving commercial catering environment. Playing a key role in workforce efficiency, this position involves monitoring, analysing, and improving rota management and labour controls across multiple sites. Working closely with General Managers and Finance teams, the role is all about identifying smarter ways of working, ensuring staffing aligns with sales forecasts while maintaining top-tier service.



With a strong background in operations and/or finance, the ideal candidate will be highly analytical, proactive, and comfortable challenging existing staffing models in a supportive and constructive way. Spending time on-site, they will collaborate directly with operational teams to implement practical, data-driven labour strategies that boost efficiency and profitability. THE ROLE



Labour Optimisation Site Support



Work on-site at various catering locations, observing staffing levels and identifying inefficiencies
Collaborate with General Managers and operational teams to develop smarter staffing solutions
Make thoughtful, data-driven recommendations to improve scheduling while maintaining operational effectiveness
Ensure rotas are aligned with sales forecasts, adjusting for demand fluctuations
Support teams in understanding and implementing best practices for workforce planning


Analysis Reporting



Monitor and analyse labour spend vs. budgeted targets across multiple contracts
Track labour-to-sales ratios, identifying trends and anomalies before they impact performance
Use data to create reports and insights that support informed decision-making
Collaborate with Finance Managers and Location Accountants to ensure accurate labour reporting and accountability


Strategic Input Continuous Improvement



Support new business tenders and existing contract retentions by providing labour cost analysis
Work closely with the Commercial Growth Team to implement new workforce strategies
Identify and recommend solutions that improve workforce efficiency
Provide ongoing training and guidance to operations teams on effective labour management


YOUR PROFILE



Strong financial analysis skillset
Experience in hospitality / contract catering
Managed a rota
Good working knowledge of MS Excel
Able to work across multiple London sites 3 x per week
