Position Summary:

South Country Co-op is hiring a service-driven and detail-oriented File Maintenance Clerk to join our team at Vauxhall Agro in Vauxhall, AB. If you’re passionate about customer service and working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, this could be the opportunity for you!

Reporting to the Agribusiness Manager, the File Maintenance Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate pricing and inventory data across multiple platforms, including Tronia and the CRS mainframe. This role plays a key part in supporting internal processes by managing product receiving, invoice reconciliation, and margin maintenance, while upholding a high standard of service and accuracy. This position is ideal for candidates with a detail-oriented mindset, solid data management skills, and a background in agriculture or file maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update the store price file to ensure accuracy and consistency
Receive inventory into Tronia and CRS mainframe systems
Process product invoices and inter-store transfers
Perform inventory and margin reconciliations
Investigate and resolve receiving/invoicing discrepancies in collaboration with the Agribusiness Manager
Generate reports and conduct data entry and file audits
Maintain effective internal and external service relationships
Educate customers on the benefits of membership in South Country Co-op
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Must be at least 15 years of age and completed Grade +
Previous file maintenance or inventory control experience is an asset
Tronia and CRS mainframe systems is preferred
Experience in the agriculture industry, with knowledge of crop protection products, is preferred
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel in particular)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to work well within multi-generational teams
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform physical tasks safely
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
Flexible and adaptable to new technology and tools
High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
Work Schedule:

This position requires availability from Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
