Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
Assist in the conceptualization and development of new fashion collections
Conduct trend, fabric, and technique research to inspire design direction
Create sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards to communicate ideas
Collaborate with senior designers to develop concepts aligned with brand aesthetics and target market
Assist in sourcing materials and trims for samples and production
Participate in fittings and garment construction- providing input on fit, fabric, and construction
Help prepare design presentations and reports using Excel
Support in the creation of tech packs for production
Assist in photo shoot coordination, styling, and prep
Conduct quality checks on samples and final garments
Stay updated on industry trends through fashion shows, trade fairs, and workshops
Maintain organized records of designs, sketches, and materials
