Responsibilities
The FSO will provide expertise, guidance and advice concerning all security management functions in support of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Functions to include facility security compliance, security questions, visit requests, fingerprinting, and security clearance submissions
The FSO will be responsible for implementing and providing guidance to customers and management on security issues such as security education, insider threat, classified document control, security investigations, classification control and personnel clearances
The selected candidate will apply knowledge of, and experience with, strong understanding of Physical Security requirements to include collateral Closed Areas/Open Storage Areas
Along with working knowledge of SF-86, SF-312, DD-254, SF700, SF702, Operations Security (OPSEC) to develop, implement, and maintain the OPSEC Program to protect sensitive unclassified information, activities, equipment and materials
Develop, participate in, and /or provide training and awareness
Create and maintain employee personnel security files
Process employee visit requests and badge requests for all current and new employees
Submit employees for clearances and periodic reinvestigations through DISS as required
Work with employees to complete periodic reinvestigations and submit to DCSA once completed
Facilitate employees as needed and upload in DISS
Transfer new hire clearances and compile security briefing packets
Assist employees with SAAR-N forms and TASS forms
Coordinate and conduct all annual security education/training in relation to the NISPOM, customer requirements and company policy
Conduct classified meetings to ensure all security procedures are being met
Maintain inventory and classified information stored in classified safe
Prepare, send and receive classified packages
Track and monitor all classified contracts and DD-254s
Investigate, prepare, and submit Security Violations and Incident Reports as required by the NISPOM

Thorough understanding of security databases such as DISS, eQIP, and NISS is required; understanding of ACCS is preferred. The FSO will be responsible for implementing and providing guidance to customers and management on security issues such as security education, insider threat, classified document control, security investigations, classification control and personnel clearances. The selected candidate will apply knowledge of, and experience with, strong understanding of Physical Security requirements to include collateral Closed Areas/Open Storage Areas.
