Summary
We are seeking a Journeyperson Carpenter to join our dedicated team at Horizon Contracting. In this role, you will play a vital part in constructing high-quality residential projects while adhering to our commitment to sustainability and innovation. Your skills will contribute significantly to our mission of creating exceptional living spaces.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute carpentry tasks accurately.
Perform various carpentry duties including forming, foundation, framing envelope and cladding.
Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and building codes.
Have the carpentry skills necessary to accomplish tasks that occur during the entire build.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Requirements
Journeyperson certification in carpentry or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years carpentry experience.
A commitment to excellence and the construction industry.
Physically fit, capable of performing all facets of construction tasks.
Review trade work for quality, accuracy, and report on findings.
A reliable vehicle, neat appearance, courteous manner.
Full toolbox of carpentry tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
