Art of Smart Education is an award-winning tutoring and mentoring provider for K-12 students, with 15 years of experience. We offer personalised one-on-one sessions in the comfort of your home, online sessions, and small group classes at our state-of-the-art campuses in Hornsby, Norwest, and Chatswood!
With a proven track record of supporting over 10,000 students, Art of Smart Education is currently seeking experienced high school tutors and teachers to join our team at our Norwest, Hornsby or Chatswood campuses. You’ll have the opportunity to tutor one-on-one or teach small group classes.
Who are we looking for:
If you are a university student, you must have achieved at least a Band 6 in either English or Mathematics in the HSC.
At least 1 year of tutoring experience is preferred (including home schooling, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, and other relevant experiences).
Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to apply effective class management strategies to create a disciplined and conducive learning environment.
What does the role involve:
Teach students in small group classes or one-on-one (all teaching materials are provided).
Prepare lessons and mark work to support student learning and provide feedback.
Develop a strong understanding of the syllabus for the subjects where students need additional support.
Mentor students on post-school options and help them develop essential skills, including study techniques, exam preparation, time management, motivation, and stress management.
