Key Responsibilities:
· To support and assist the Head of Department in assignments related to litigation and case management, operational contracts, legal research, drafting of correspondence, and legal documents.
· Drafting Notices, Criminal Complaints, Suits, Write Petition, and Appeals and appearing for and representing on behalf of the organization in criminal, civil, labor, consumer, and arbitration cases before judicial and quasi-judicial courts and authorities.
· Due diligence in property matters.
· IPR trademarks, brand names, licensing and protection, tracking, and monitoring brand infringements.
· Provide prompt guidance and advice to the business team to resolve litigation and identify and manage risk in business practices and company contracts.
· Strategize and manage all litigation matters, suit for breach of contracts, loss and damages, recoveries and complaints under 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, consumer matter, summary proceeding, etc.
· Manage litigation tracker and present periodic updates and implement innovative MIS methods and tools for effective administration of compliance, documentation, and litigation.
· Draft and review written representation and replies to various governmental and quasi-governmental authorities.
· Liaison with external lawyers, police, statutory authorities, and consultants for specific engagements.
