The Corporate Strategy Solutions team collaborate and partner with senior stakeholders across Macquarie to solve their most important and complex problems and unlock value.
You will join the Corporate Development pillar in Sydney which focuses on delivering specialist independent commercial analysis and advice to the CFO, driving strategic growth and structural evolution of the Group.

What role will you play?
You will be instrumental in driving the identification, analysis and execution of Macquarie’s key strategic initiatives including mergers acquisitions, divestments, restructures, partnerships and new business creation.
In addition, you will also draw on industry trends, competitive landscape and market developments to produce independent research for the CFO and senior management which will help inform future opportunities for the Group.
You will work closely with our businesses and senior leaders on a range of interesting and impactful projects that make a tangible difference to our business, clients and broader communities.
What you offer
Tertiary qualifications, preferably in finance, economics, accounting or other related fields, with strong academic results
3+ years of professional experience. Prior experience in Investment banking, consulting or corporate development will be viewed favourably
Excellent understanding of corporate finance, valuation and accounting principles with extensive experience in financial modelling
Track record of facilitating and delivering strategic projects and / or complex transactions that produce commercially sound and practical results
Demonstrable interest in cutting edge market and technology developments, curiosity about financial markets, an entrepreneurial drive to identify and realise opportunities and a strong team player who is comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders on a regular basis
