Role Identifier Job Title - Executive Level 1 - Raw MaterialsDepartment - Plant AdministrationReporting to - Manager - Plant MaterialsGrade - Executive/LEVEL I (A/AS)Jobs Reporting Into - NILLocation/Unit - PatancheruRole Description Job Purpose - To ensure the smooth batching operations without disrupting production, allotting batching tasks to operators, ensuring the availability of the required batch raw materials at the right place and at the right time, monitoring for stock accuracy, overseeing implementation of 5S and other housekeeping activities in the godown.Primary Responsibilities Business Responsibility Areas (Please detail out at least 8-10 responsibility areas) Key Performance Indicators - Daily Activities: a) Batching Activities i. Allotting the batching of various raw materials (according to production requirements) to operators. ii. Ensuring that batching is done in the right quantities, checking that batching for Water Based paints is done in the right sequence. iii Scheduling batching activities in such a way that they do not disrupt production schedules in any way. b) Monitoring the new bulk receipts and storing them at the right locations allotted to them, checking for any shortages in raw material receipts. c) Ensuring stock accuracy by monitoring the issue of correct quantities to various departments. d) Overseeing the implementation of 5S activities in the godown and supervising operators in terms of adherence to 5S norms. e) Constantly collecting data for identifying improvement activities in batching to be used for the settlement. f) Making sure that bills are passed smoothly and efficiently so that there are no bills pending for more than 60 days, sorting out any problems that may arise in connection with the bills and ensuring that there are written statements available for freight claims. g) Ensuring that all batch confirmations are done in the same shift and that no batch requisitions are missing or pending for any reason. h) Updating and maintaining documentation required for ISO.
