Responsibilities:
As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and supply ordering. You will work closely with the manager to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain exceptional food presentation. Additionally, you will collaborate with the kitchen team to address food preparation challenges and train junior cooks in advanced cooking techniques. Your ability to organize daily food preparation schedules and guide cooking processes will be essential to our team's success. Furthermore, you will uphold kitchen safety standards and ensure strict adherence to hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need a Certificate IV or higher in Cookery and a minimum of two years of restaurant experience. Experience in Japanese cuisine is highly regarded, and you must possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. As a passionate, organized, and reliable individual, you will thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
