Key Responsibilities
The Chef will be responsible for leading the kitchen team, including hiring and training new staff, managing inventory and resources, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
They will also be expected to develop and implement new menu concepts, manage labor costs, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for culinary arts, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
They will also need to be familiar with council and in-house hygiene regulations and standards, as well as have knowledge of food preservation and freezing techniques.
