We are seeking a highly skilled Event Catering Coordinator to join our team at Occasions Catering. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the success of our events by coordinating catering staff schedules and preparing and serving food under the supervision of the Catering Director.

About the Role:
As an Event Catering Coordinator, you will determine workload requirements from catering orders, interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner, and instruct staff on work expectations for catered functions. Your ability to multitask and maintain high-quality service standards is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate catering staff schedules to ensure timely event execution
• Determine workload requirements from catering orders
• Prepare and serve food under the supervision of the Catering Director
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner
• Instruct staff on work expectations for catered functions

Requirements:
• 5 years of prior maitre d, event management, and/or banquet manager experience required
• Prior French service experience preferred
• Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law
