We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health Officer to join our team at Randstad Australia.
As an Environmental Health Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our local places and spaces remain clean, healthy, and sustainable.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement environmental health strategies, policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Conduct regular inspections of food premises, cooling towers, and onsite sewerage management systems to identify potential health risks.
Provide educational programs for the community on environmental health issues, such as food safety and sustainability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective environmental health promotion and education programs.
Monitor and report on the performance of environmental health programs to ensure they are meeting their objectives.
Requirements
Relevant experience and qualifications in environmental health.
Sound knowledge of, and experience in, current environmental health issues.
Demonstrated high level of oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings.
