Job Overview
SOL Camps, part of the OHC Toronto family, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated English Language Teachers to join our vibrant summer program for international students. This is a short-term teaching opportunity (July 14–25), ideal for educators looking to gain experience in a fun, dynamic, and multicultural environment.
Teachers will work Monday to Thursday mornings, delivering 20 hours of instruction over two weeks using our provided textbook and materials. Learner groups range in age from 7–12 (young learners) to 13–17 (teenagers).
This is a rewarding opportunity for creative, energetic teachers who want to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver interactive and age-appropriate ESL lessons using our designated textbook and materials
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and language development
Teach reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary in line with the program’s curriculum
Adapt lessons to suit diverse language levels and learning styles
Provide feedback on student progress and maintain basic class records
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a high-quality student experience
Support classroom management and student engagement during lesson time
Qualifications Skills
Bachelor’s degree (Education, English, TESL/TEFL, or related field preferred)
TESL, CELTA, or equivalent teaching certification
Experience teaching ESL or EFL to children or teens preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire young learners
Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, mornings (20 total teaching hours)
