• Leading enforcement investigations and applying sanctions.
• Managing communication with businesses and research organizations.
• Undertaking project work to address risks and justify interventions.
• Supporting business compliance and providing guidance.
• Developing specialist knowledge in regulatory areas.
• Reviewing market information and handling documentation.
• Building relationships across teams to enhance work value.
• Developing as a regulator and exploring innovative regulatory methods.
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
• A degree in Biological/Natural Science/Ecology or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.
• Ability to support multi-faceted work plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A full valid driving license or working towards obtaining one.
• Commitment to achieving a Regulator Compliance Level 4 qualification.
Compensation benefits
• Salary of £34,254 with a £9,923 contribution to the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
• National: £34,254 - £36,142 London: £38,13 - £39,994
