The Early Years Branch Child Care Operations is hiring three, two-year-term Early Learning and Child Care Consultants in Regina. Our consultants play an integral role in advancing the Canada-Saskatchewan Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement in Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Program Manager for the South region, consultants are responsible for:
Developing, licensing, and monitoring child care services;
Supporting parents and caregivers;
Assisting community groups and individuals to meet their child care needs;
Actively working towards the recruitment and retention of new licensed family child care providers in the area;
Ensuring information about early childhood care and education is available to the public; and
Enforcing The Child Care Act and The Child Care Regulations.
