Job Description:
The establishment of the new Secondary College in Shepparton is the initial phase of the Shepparton Education Plan, which aims to improve educational outcomes for P-12 and beyond. The plan will improve transitions, pathways and opportunities for students through improving teacher capacity, resources and a contemporary school infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
To teach a range of students/classes and be accountable for the effective delivery of their programs.
To participate in the development of school policies and programs and assist in the implementation of school priorities.
To model exemplary classroom practice and mentor/coach other teachers in the school to engage in critical reflection of their practice and to support staff to expand their capacity.
Requirements:
- Content Knowledge: Have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Classroom Practice: Model exemplary classroom practice and mentor/coach other teachers in the school to engage in critical reflection of their practice and to support staff to expand their capacity.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
