Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Educational Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong background in child/family care. This role involves providing therapeutic support, and support to implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each child. The assistant will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Duties
Support the therapeutic needs of children.
Implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Provide indirect therapy services to children in various settings, including special education environments.
Monitor and document progress through data collection and case management practices.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support for patients.
Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication with other healthcare professionals.
Engage in research activities as needed to enhance therapeutic practices and outcomes.
Experience
Previous experience working with children in a therapeutic or clinical setting is essential.
Familiarity with pediatric care, special education, and case management is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to therapy practices.
Experience in data collection methods for monitoring patient progress is beneficial.
Background in hospital settings or related healthcare environments is a plus.
