We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Help Support Worker to empower and enable families living in Castle Vale and Sutton.
This role involves working with families to improve their quality of life and well-being, focusing on increasing resilience in parents and young people through our family coaching model.
About the Role
Act as a navigator for each family, using coaching techniques to maximise their opportunities to succeed
Build resilience and develop practical life and parenting skills to enable families to respond to issues affecting them on a day-to-day basis
Enhance parents and children's ability to access health and wellbeing programmes to increase levels of physical activity and improve emotional wellbeing
Your Responsibilities
Navigate families through areas of need and enable them to create bespoke solutions
Develop strong partnerships with schools, health services, Police, housing, statutory services, and community organisations to ensure timely referrals into the project
Have knowledge and understanding of Early Help assessment procedures and safeguarding processes
