About the role
We are looking for a motivated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to work with us on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Working in a classroom with the potential of leading a class.
Providing leadership and guidance to staff
Developing effective relationships with parents including opportunities to discuss and understand the child’s individual progress
Encouraging parents to become involved with centre initiatives
Ensuring the room is well-organised, and attractive prepared environment consistent with Montessori pedagogy
Ensuring that the centre is compliant with all State Legislation and National Quality Standards
Building and engaging with local communities, creating strong ties and relationships with the community
Attending staff meetings and professional development sessions
Key Selection Criteria
At least two years of relevant and recent work experience
A closely-related Bachelor degree or at least five years of relevant work in lieu of a qualification
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to motivate and lead a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $78,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
