Responsibilities / Activities

Financial Planning

Oversees all aspects of finance including managing of Working Capital, Assisting in costing for tender proposals, Creating MIS and financial projections, managing relationships with Banks / consultants, ensuring all corporate and employee Statutes, taxation and other commitments to ensure that these are in accordance with the objectives and business plan.

Ensures establishment of sound financial systems and policies reporting to the business line and ensuring adherence to the same.

Formulates budgets and conducts variance analysis

Working Capital Management Financial Performance

Monitors, tracks and ensures all measures to receive all accounts Receivables for the company

Ensures timely and accurate updation and reporting of financial and commercial information and adherence to all statutory compliances

Assists the Board, CEO CFO in all corporate and long-range financial planning activities and ensuring their execution in line with the plans.

Develops cash flow estimates for the organization to ensure smooth implementation of budget within targeted time and monitors actual performance vis-à-vis such budget with relation to budgetary control.

Ensures minimization of borrowing cost through analysis and relationship with banks/ vendors/ institutes, etc.

Decides financial and performance goals with budgets, compares the actual results, and adjusts performance, as required with a focus on strategic cost management initiatives.

Process Adherence

Proposes improvement in processes and internal control mechanism with all day-to-day general ledger activities, accounts payable, cash disbursements, and other areas of accounting.

Ensures minimum usage of consultants for relevant departmental functions ( to be calculated on the reduction of cost of consultants)

Accounting Compliances

Ensures completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts as per schedule and consolidation of accounts as per statutes and standards and ensures reliable financial reporting.

Ensures periodic audit of final accounts and accounting processes as per schedule and organizational guidelines

Lists down the taxation liabilities of the company per month

Project Support

Assists the CEO/CFO in costing of materials for tender and proposal support and also in techno commercial negotiations.

Ensures Cost and analysis support for all project proposals, acquisition and execution

Supervises adherence to the Project execution as per the contract and escalate deviations to the Board

Management Coordination

Coordinates Management and directors’ meetings and notes down all observations

People Development

Manages the Team and supervises their performance, with necessary guidance and trainings based on Need identification and Analysis
