Job Description

Position Summary:
The Driver will ensure that the shuttle bus/Limo is clean, well maintained and in good condition in order to transport our Graton Resort Casino guests, to retirement communities and other locations as required by Management. The driver will act as a good will Ambassador and maintain high safety standards at all times. The Driver will also perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Graton Resort Casino's
culture and demonstrating Graton Resort Casino's Service Standards at all times.
2. Drivers will inspect the vehicle prior to/after each shift, and properly fill out DOT booklet.
3. Drivers will be familiar with the operation of the vehicle thoroughly before operating it.
4. Drivers will ensure that the vehicle is clean and that the interior is safe and ready for use prior to starting the shift.
5. Drivers will obey all driving regulations and will adhere to all speed laws on Graton Resort Casino's property as well as public/private property.
6. Drivers will maintain jurisdiction over anyone who may interfere with the Driver's ability to operate the vehicle safely.
7. Drivers will consider all road hazards and will operate the vehicle with full coherency and alertness at all times.
8. Drivers will never drink any alcoholic beverages during any period of time which may affect the Driver's ability to operate the vehicle, nor will a Driver be under the influence of any substance that may affect the Driver's ability to drive safely.
9. Drivers will be knowledgeable with regard to directions and Graton Resort Casino information and will offer information and assistance to our guests.
10. Drivers will act in a courteous manner toward our guests at all times.
11. Drivers will be punctual in following the schedule as specified to ensure guests are not left waiting. All Drivers must be at their vehicle at least 5 minutes before scheduled departure.
12. Drivers will try to make an additional run when our shuttles are full and other guests are left behind.
13. Drivers will not leave their vehicle unattended with the engine running or not while passengers are aboard. Drivers will not idle for than 5 minutes at any given time.
14. This position is not limited to the duties listed in this job description. Duties and responsibilities can be changed, expanded, reduced or deleted by Management to meet business needs of the Transportation Department.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Class 'B' Driver's License with a 'P' (passenger) endorsement and a CDL designation (Commercial Drivers' License) for the State of California and must have a clean driving record.
3. Current Driver's license record dated within seven (7) days of presentation to Graton Resort Casino.

Physical Requirements:
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
2. DOT physical every two years.
3. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.

Work Conditions:
Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second hand smoke. Team Members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
