About the Role
The Driver position is focused on providing safe, professional, and timely transportation for all passengers. Drivers must adhere to all traffic laws to create a safe and professional atmosphere. We believe your skills and experience will make a significant contribution to our company's success.
Key Responsibilities
Safe Driving and Navigation: Ensure passenger safety by following all traffic laws and regulations, and maintaining a clean driving record. Utilize GPS and other navigation tools to determine the best routes, avoiding traffic and ensuring timely arrivals.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and accommodating to passengers' needs and preferences. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing updates on estimated arrival times and any potential delays. Address and resolve any issues or complaints from passengers in a professional manner.
Vehicle Care: Regularly inspect the vehicle before and after each shift to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking for any damages, notifications, tires, and other essential components. Create a clean and inviting environment for all drivers, checking for any messes made in between trips to ensure each passenger receives the same standard of rides.
General Skills Qualifications
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement in learning.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to unpredictable situations.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Must have an active driver's license and be approved on the company's insurance.
Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance as needed.
Benefits
(For full-time employees) Medical, dental, and vision benefits are provided through Thatch's ICHRA, starting on the 1st of the month following +0 days of employment. Paid time off is accrued weekly from the first week of work but cannot be used until after completing +0 days of employment. Eligible employees are required to provide ample notice and get HR/Managerial approval prior to using paid vacations.
