Your day-to-day:
As our Digital Analytics Lead, you'll be at the forefront of driving Lotto NZ's digital transformation. Your day-to-day will involve:
Leading the digital analytics strategy'developing and executing a roadmap that aligns with our broader digital and data goals.
Delivering actionable insights'providing timely, accurate reporting and deep-dive analysis to enhance campaign performance and customer engagement.
Optimising digital experiences'working closely with digital marketers, data scientists, and engineers to improve online customer journeys and maximise ROI.
Championing data-driven decisions'designing automated reporting tools and advanced analytics models like segmentation and churn prediction.
Collaborating across teams'partnering with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure seamless data integration and campaign tracking.
Leading a high-performing team'coaching and mentoring digital analytics specialists, fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement.
Sharing knowledge'being a go-to expert on customer behaviour and digital trends, and ensuring insights are accessible across the business.

You'll lead a small but mighty team of digital analytics specialists, guiding them to deliver high-impact insights and champion a data-driven culture across Lotto NZ. Reporting to the Head of Data Analytics, you'll collaborate closely with digital marketers, data scientists, engineers, and external agency partners to bring our digital strategy to life.
Together, your team will:
Develop and implement digital analytics strategies and reporting frameworks.
Support campaign tracking, optimisation, and audience segmentation.
Deliver insights that enhance the online customer journey and improve marketing ROI.

You bring:
Expert-level knowledge of digital analytics tools like Google Analytics 4, SQL, Python, and Power BI.
A strong understanding of digital marketing performance, customer segmentation, and campaign optimisation.
Experience working with data warehouses such as BigQuery or Databricks.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights clearly and influence decision-making.
