Designer - Landscape
About Us
We are a purpose-driven company that believes play is essential for a child's development, fostering kindness, resilience, and thoughtfulness.
Our work goes beyond designing playgrounds; we create transformative experiences that celebrate the wonder of childhood.
We thrive on innovation and create bespoke designs that captivate and inspire.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced designer, ideally a landscape designer or a designer who has experience in landscape design including horticulture/planting plans and ideally with some experience and understanding of basic landscape structures like play structures.
Key Responsibilities
Develop design narratives and creative concepts for nature-based, bespoke playgrounds that foster play, learning, and sustainability.
Work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders from initial briefings to concept design, development approvals (DA), and detailed documentation.
Conduct site analysis, identifying opportunities and constraints to inform innovative and practical design solutions.
Create high-quality schematic designs, 3D renderings, and detailed construction documentation using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Incorporate horticultural planning, permaculture principles, and environmental design into playgrounds and outdoor spaces.
Collaborate with manufacturers, builders, and contractors to ensure your designs translate seamlessly into construction.
Able to manage multiple projects at one time, ensuring all stages are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
About You
Ideally, you will have a background or experience in landscape design with a strong passion for horticulture.
You will be working across climates in Australia and internationally, so you have both local knowledge and the ability to apply more regional-specific solutions to international projects.
What We Offer
The chance to work on meaningful, globally recognized projects.
A supportive and flexible work environment with a 4-day workweek or tailored hours to suit your lifestyle or 5 days a week if you would like.
Opportunities for continuous professional development and career growth.
A creative and passionate team culture driven by shared values and purpose.
