Deputy Ward Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager at Didcot Community Hospital.
The successful candidate will lead registered and unregistered nursing staff in supporting their professional development and promoting best practice.
Key responsibilities include leading the management team to deliver a responsive, high-quality patient-focused service, working in partnership with multidisciplinary teams to promote effective patient care and discharge, and influencing policy development and implementation.
Main Duties:
The ideal candidate will support the Ward Manager in all aspects of ward management, providing clinical advice, expertise, and leadership skills with excellent communication.
They will be part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on rehabilitation and recovery for older patients with complex health needs.
