Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice every other Thursday starting August 14, 2025 . The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain patient records accurately using dental software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of medical terminology being advantageous.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Tracker is highly desirable.
Experience in orthodontics and pediatrics will be considered a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
