Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and a desire to educate and inspire students of all ages. This role involves teaching various dance styles, creating engaging lesson plans, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
Duties
Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs and skill levels of students.
Instruct students in various dance styles, ensuring proper techniques and safety measures are followed.
Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student participation and enthusiasm.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
Organize and prepare students for performances, competitions, or showcases as needed.
Collaborate with other instructors to enhance the overall curriculum and student experience.
Maintain a clean and organized dance studio space, ensuring all equipment is safe for use.
Experience
Previous experience in teaching dance or related fields is preferred.
Background in early childhood education or tutoring is a plus, particularly for instructors working with younger students.
Familiarity with classroom management techniques to effectively engage children during lessons.
A passion for educating others and the ability to connect with students on an individual level is essential.
Experience working with children in various capacities will be beneficial in creating an effective learning environment.
