Full job description
We are a small, ISO-registered medical device manufacturer located in east Toronto. We're experiencing multiple years of double-digit sales growth and are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our dynamic team.

Position: Cycle Count Specialist (Manufacturing)

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Work Location: In-person - North York, Toronto, ON, Canada

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct daily cycle counts according to RAZ Cycle Count Procedure and as assigned by the SAP module.
Develop and utilize knowledge of RAZ's part numbers and assemblies to accurately identify warehouse parts and their bin locations.
Investigate inventory discrepancies from daily cycle count activities, identifying issues caused by Bills of Material (BOMs), location assignments, and purchasing variances. Ensure all discrepancies are reported and adjusted.
Ensure part quantity, part location, revision, and FIFO batch are accurately reported during scheduled cycle counts.
Submit a summary of cycle count discrepancies and a reconciliation report to management and Buyer/Planners for corrective actions and/or urgent orders.
Develop and implement best practices such as FIFO rotation, part version control, bundling, and multiple box consolidation to pursue inventory accuracy.
Collect and analyze daily Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report to management.
Review any discrepancies and maintain accurate material transfers in SAP.
Manage material transfers in and out of Incoming Quality Control (IQC) and quarantine, as well as regular inventory.
Support daily Material Handling activities, including but not limited to inventory movement, shipping, receiving, bin replenishment, and assisting all teams in locating materials.
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience with parts picking, replenishment, cycle counting, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of understanding mechanical CAD drawings and technical documents.
Strong knowledge of Supply Chain and Inventory Management principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate or advanced level.
Skilled in formal data analysis and root cause investigations.
ERP working knowledge is an asset; SAP Business One is preferred.
Critical thinking skills, a team-player mentality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, high attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and discipline are essential attributes.
