CTVS Surgeon

Role Responsibilities
• Perform cardiothoracic surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafting and valve repairs.
• Evaluate and manage preoperative and postoperative care for patients.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other medical professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Conduct regular follow-up assessments to monitor patient recovery and identify any complications.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all surgical procedures.
• Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and recovery processes.
• Stay current with advancements in cardiothoracic surgery techniques and practices.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases.
• Provide support and guidance to surgical teams in the operating room.
• Manage surgical complications and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Participate in research and clinical trials as required.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and train junior surgical staff and medical students.
• Contribute to the overall mission and vision of the healthcare facility.
Qualifications
• Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
• Specialization in Cardiothoracic Surgery with relevant certifications.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in CTVS.
• Strong knowledge of surgical techniques and patient care.
• Proven track record of successful surgical outcomes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
• Experience in teaching and training surgical residents.
• Familiarity with latest advancements and research in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Current medical licensing and board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
