MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently enrolled in post-secondary studies, with a focus in business, finance, or a related field.
Interest in gaining experience in finance and office administration.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of finance-related concepts (an asset but not required).
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must be eligible for the Canada Summer Jobs program.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day office tasks such as answering phones, filing, managing emails, scheduling meetings, and directing calls.
Document Processing: Assist with processing and organizing financial documents, ensuring that paperwork is filed and stored appropriately.
Data Entry: Enter and maintain accurate financial data in spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Office Organization: Maintain an organized and efficient office environment by ensuring that files, documents, and supplies are kept in order.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues by responding to inquiries and aiding as needed.
Special projects as assigned.
Skills Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Basic knowledge of finance and financial documentation.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
