Litigation Executive – Credit Hire Fraud
Paralegal/Litigation Executive - Exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join this Credit Hire fraud team in a international firms Birmingham office. As part of this well-established team, you will work with some of the UK’s leading insurers and corporates, providing legal support on a broad range of fraudulent credit hire claims.
Title: Paralegal/Litigation Executive
Location: Birmingham (remote options considered for experienced candidates)
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £33,000
Previous Experience: Litigation experience with credit hire matters
The role
• Managing a caseload of defendant credit hire files from inception to resolution
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, instructions to counsel and correspondence
• Supporting senior fee earners on complex or high-value matters
• Engaging in settlement negotiations and case strategy discussions
• Ensuring compliance with internal processes and client SLAs
About you
• Experience working in a legal environment, ideally with exposure to credit hire, motor, or insurance litigation
• A genuine interest in defendant litigation and a desire to develop specialist expertise
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise a busy caseload effectively
