Corporate Lawyer for Complex Legal Matters
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced corporate lawyer to handle all corporate legal matters of our organization. The ideal candidate will work with a high degree of autonomy on complex legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advising on all aspects of corporate and commercial legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, equity funding, debt financing, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings.
• End-to-end legal support for fundraising and MA activities, including drafting, vetting, and negotiation of various corporate and commercial contracts.
• Reviewing and drafting documents related to debt financing activities, coordinating with lenders, and closing documentation in a timely manner.
• Carrying out discussions with external counsel, negotiating with counterparties, and assessing and explaining legal risks involved.
• Ensuring legal compliance with contractual terms and obligations, maintaining necessary compliance trackers, and being up-to-date with legal framework developments.
Requirements:
• PQE of 4-5 years with at least 2 years of experience working with a law firm in a general corporate or banking and finance role.
• Hands-on approach, able to independently manage projects, and have extensively worked on variety of corporate legal agreements.
• Strong team player, excellent legal drafting and interpretation skills, and sound interpersonal and communication skills.
