Duties
• Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Assist in the planning of menus, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
• Help create an enjoyable dining atmosphere by presenting dishes attractively.

Qualifications
• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new techniques within the culinary field.
