The Salvation Army In Las Vegas seeks a skilled Cook to join our team.

About the Role
This part-time position requires experience or training as a line cook and the ability to work varying hours.

Responsibilities
Maintain production schedules to ensure timely service and quality of product.
Observe and implement all approved sanitation practices.
Oversight of deliveries from purveyors coinciding with purchase orders.
Reporting of any unsafe or unsanitary conditions in the kitchen or dining room.
Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent.
Two years of experience as a line cook or equivalent formal training.
Ability to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
Criminal background check clearance.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus. The employee must have the ability to operate a telephone, desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
