Cook/Chef- Location: 1 West Harling Road, East Harling, NR16 2NP

At Black Swan Care Group, we are currently looking for a cook/chef to
work in one of our residential care facilities, The Beeches on a part
time, 21 hour permanent contract, £14.00 per hour.

The Beeches is a Care Home in East Harling, providing care to the
elderly and those living with Dementia. The Beeches stand in 2 acres
of land which was originally a rectory. The Beeches has successfully
maintained its “Outstanding Overall” rating from the CQC, which makes
it among the top 4% in the country.

Responsibilities of a Cook/Chef:
• Prepare residents meals and maintain a well-balanced nutritious
diet (Taking into consideration special dietary needs and
requirements as set out in Residents Care Plans, and residents menu choices)
• Ensure food stock supplies are monitored and deliveries are
correct, and all food are temperature probed, recorded, stored
correctly and stock rotated.
• Maintain a high standard of food preparation and implement the
requirements set out by the Environment Health and Local Authority
for the Home, the Food Safety Act 1++0, and the Food Hygiene
(England) Regulations 2005. (Personal appearance must be of an
acceptable level. Uniform provided must be worn, hair covered or
tied back. Sensible enclosed non-slip shoes to be worn.)

Requirements of a Cook/Chef:
• Qualified and experienced to cook and prepare food in a kitchen setting
