Cook/Chef
At Black Swan Care Group, we are currently looking for a cook/chef to work in one of our residential care facilities, Nightingale Lodge on a part time, 21-28 hour permanent contract, £12.00 per hour.
Nightingale Lodge is an outstanding-rated residential care home in situated in the West Norfolk town of Hunstanton. The home provides short-term, respite care and longer term care and support for up to 2+ residents at the home, including support for people living with dementia.

Responsibilities of a Cook/Chef:
• Prepare residents meals and maintain a well-balanced nutritious diet (Taking into consideration special dietary needs and requirements as set out in Residents Care Plans, and residents menu choices)
• Ensure food stock supplies are monitored and deliveries are correct, and all food are temperature probed, recorded, stored correctly and stock rotated.
• Maintain a high standard of food preparation and implement the requirements set out by the Environment Health and Local Authority for the Home, the Food Safety Act 1++0, and the Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2005. (Personal appearance must be of an acceptable level. Uniform provided must be worn, hair covered or tied back. Sensible enclosed non-slip shoes to be worn.)

• Qualified and experienced to cook and prepare food in a kitchen setting

• Availability to work every other weekend
